Our goal is to help spread awareness for the Hudson River and to help out those who are already making their impact.

It all began with an idea. Inspired by the threats of plastic pollution on the once-beautiful Hudson River, we began this educational campaign to raise awareness about it and its plastic pollution crisis. Spreading awareness of issues is just as vital as taking action, which is why we decided to provide you with information on the plastic pollution issue and what you can do about it.
This website also provides links to volunteer opportunities and donation sites that are helping fight plastic pollution for the Hudson River so you can make your impact.

It all begins and ends with you. We challenge you to share this website with at least one other person and encourage them to make their impact. It takes just a few clicks to help spread awareness and be part of a cause that could help change out environment in a simple, easy way.
Where can we start?
As simply as possible, the overarching mission of campaigns like this is to make sure we are protecting the Hudson River from further plastic pollution and cleaning up what damage has already been done. This river is huge, and it runs for many miles into the ocean, so realistically, we won't be able to fix the problem entirely. Because it's so damaged, it's even more dire that we make sure that, as a community of New York and Connecticut, we are being mindful of the plastic we are using and try to limit it as much as possible to prevent that waste from entering this river.

You can help by looking at our About Us page and donating to different Hudson River causes. It is a pleasure to see that our viewers want to help the Hudson River and make a change in our environment. By starting off with raising awareness, we will build a strong community of people who can spread the word about plastic pollution, overall leading to a stronger and more united group of people who can work together to save the Hudson River.
